LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Walmart has announced plans to build a new Supercenter in the Revere area of North Las Vegas, a move that is expected to create approximately 300 new jobs.
This development is part of Walmart’s broader strategy to build or convert more than 150 stores nationwide over the coming years, aiming to blend convenience, technology, and enhanced shopping experiences to meet evolving customer habits.
The 175-square-foot store will be located at the northeast corner of Revere Street and West Dorrell Lane, strategically positioned to serve the rapidly growing community.
The Revere Supercenter is designed to offer a seamless blend of physical and digital shopping experiences, featuring a wide assortment of national and private brands, fresh produce at Walmart’s Every Day Low Prices, and elevated departments in fashion, baby, home, and pets.
The store will include modern amenities such as a pharmacy with a drive-through, a new health services room for immunizations and clinical services, and a reimagined vision center.
QR codes throughout the store will provide instant access to an expanded assortment on Walmart.com. Additional customer-centric features include a mother’s room, an auto care center, and a full-service fuel station with a convenience store.
Best-in-class pickup and delivery options will be available, including curbside pickup, fast delivery within three hours, and express delivery as soon as 30 minutes.
“Walmart is excited to be a part of the future of North Las Vegas,” said Jay Cordray, Walmart’s Senior Vice President of Operations, West Business Unit. “We are committed to serving this growing community with a shopping experience that is both innovative and convenient.”
The new store will offer both hourly and salaried positions, providing world-class benefits such as tuition-free college from day one, flexible scheduling, medical coverage, and paid time off.
Construction is set to begin in the fall of 2026, with an anticipated grand opening in the fall of 2027.
This announcement follows Walmart’s recent investment in Nevada, where the company plans to remodel hundreds of stores across the country this year, including locations in Reno, Gardnerville, Winnemucca, and Fallon.
