Las Vegas has become a destination for popular singers and bands to celebrate monumental moments in their careers.

Legendary hard rock band Scorpions has chosen the Las Vegas Strip to celebrate the band’s notable anniversaries. The band will return to Vegas in 2025 for its “Coming Home to Las Vegas 60th Anniversary” residency at Caesars Entertainment’s PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, beginning Feb. 27 and continuing March 1, 6, 8 and 11, 2025.

The ”Rock You Like a Hurricane” band had already marked another significant anniversary earlier this year when it celebrated the 40th anniversary of its “Love at First Sting” album with a nine-show residency from April 11 to May 3.

Legendary rapper Nas just completed a sold-out residency at the Wynn Resorts’ Encore Theater on Aug. 29, 31 and Sept. 1, 2024, backed by the Las Vegas Philharmonic. The residency celebrated the 30th anniversary of the superstar’s groundbreaking “Illmatic” album that he released in April 1994.

Finally, popular 1980s soft rock duo Air Supply brings their hit songs like “All Out of Love” and “Even the Nights Are Better” back to the International Theater at the Westgate Las Vegas just off the Strip for a short residency on May 23-24 and Oct. 3-4, 2025, to celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary.

The band has various ticket prices and packages available for fans. The top ticket price is $475 for a Row 1 onstage viewing experience for the May 23 show. Fans can also sit in Row A, center stage Section 2, with a VIP sound check meet and greet for $300.

Official Platinum tickets are available in Section 2, Row D, for $250, while the best standard admission tickets in Sections 1, 2, and 3 start at $125. The lowest-priced tickets in Sections 4 through 9 are $40. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com.

The “Making Love Out of Nothing at All” singers last performed at the International Theater for two shows this year on May 31- June 1 during their Lost In Love Experience Tour.

The May and October 2025 Westgate shows were just added and are listed as part of the Lost In Love tour on the band’s website, but the Westgate refers to those four shows as the band’s 50th anniversary shows.

Air Supply revealed on its website that it is celebrating its 50th anniversary in May 2025, with a logo proclaiming “EST. 1975.” It’s thinking of organizing a Caribbean cruise to celebrate the anniversary. So, it has asked fans if they would prefer a four-day or seven-day cruise.

The inquiry includes a photograph of Royal Caribbean Group’s Voyager of the Seas, which could be the ship the band plans to charter for the cruise.

“We are just in the initial stages but would love to hear from you,” a message on the website said.

Singers Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock met in 1975 while rehearsing for an Australian production of “Jesus Christ Superstar” in Sidney, according to their website.

The Australian soft rock singing duo became friends and began performing in coffee bars and pizza parlors before recording their first single for CBS Records, “Love and Other Bruises,” which did well on the charts.

After the “Jesus Christ Superstar” production ended in 1976, the duo opened for Rod Stewart in Australia and continued with Rockin’ Rod’s North American tour in 1977. After returning from the tour, Graham Russell wrote two of the duo’s biggest hits, “Lost in Love” and ‘All Out of Love,” which both became chart-toppers in 1980 after Arista Records signed the singers to a record deal.
