Pahrump, NV — August 25, 2025 — Mental Margarita XYZ Productions is thrilled to invite

guests to a very special musical performance by soul singer, Aaron Akins on September 20,

2025. This transformative experience will tantalize ears and touch hearts. This event is truly a

highlight for Nye County and the city of Pahrump, at one of their best loved night spots,

Rhinestones Country Bar & Dance Hall.

Aaron Akins is a singer and songwriter originally hailing from Chicago. Aaron began his career

singing in church as a child, and later went on to study music at Southern Illinois University, his

passion then leading him to move hundreds of miles from home to Los Angeles. Aaron’s journey

through music has awarded him many opportunities and he has many accolades to his credit.

“We are so excited to introduce Aaron and his amazing talent to the Southern Nevada desert

community," said Jersey Doll, Executive Producer of the “Mental Margarita” Show, which airs

weekly on Channel 25.1, KPVM-Nevada. She goes on to say, “Nowhere else will you hear a

voice that will leave you so captivated and moved. We are truly honored to be part of this

special night.” Aaron’s newly released single, “When Do We Love”, featuring Walter and

Wallace Scott of the legendary soul group The Whispers, was part of the TV show as a guest in

2024, and the song has been making waves on radio from coast to coast!

The music world recently lost legendary artist Walter Scott and part of this show will honor his

memory. A portion of ticket sales will benefit the Kline Veterans Fund of Southern Nevada,

which serves at-risk veterans and their families with emergency housing assistance and support

services.

Akins has had countless performances, sharing stages with legends such as Bob Hope and Ray

Charles, to television and film. In Season One, he played Herbie Hancock in the Emmy award

winning mega hit series, “I Think You Should Leave” by Tim Robinson. Aaron is the writer,

composer and performer of the hit song, "I Just Wanna Luv You”, featured in the movie Black

Butterfly, starring Antonio Banderas.

He has performed at the legendary Catalina Jazz Club where many talented legends have

graced the stage including figures such as Stevie Wonder, Dizzy Gillespie, Billy Vera and many

more. Aaron was voted Best Cabaret/Concert Male Artist in Los Angeles by Broadway World,

the go-to source for all things Broadway, theatre, and live entertainment around the world. Aaron

was also the lead actor in Billy Ocean’s classic hit song, “Suddenly” music video and even

performed for the Pope at the Vatican!

This unforgettable night of music features Aaron Akins’ original music and portions of his “Into

the Cole” rendition, singing the legendary music of Nat King Cole. While Aaron’s smooth, soulful

voice will resonate with the audience to their core, his delivery and stage presence is truly

magical.
