No more Jesse Law — Clark County Republicans have had enough

Last Tuesday night (7/16), Clark County Republicans sent a clear message — no more Jesse Law.

In a crushing defeat, Jesse Law lost to Jill Douglass in a landslide. It became obvious early on: Republicans were done with him.

Surprisingly, it wasn’t the domestic abuse allegations or stalking charges that sank him. It was something simpler — the room chose competence over incompetence. As one attendee put it, “He’s just a narcissistic liar.”

Each candidate had two minutes to speak. Jill Douglass focused on unity, saying, “This is a “WE” Campaign not a “ME” campaign. We have the opportunity to do better — together — and elect Republicans.”

Jesse made it all about himself, he chose to run a “ME” campaign rattling off fake endorsements from President Trump, Governor Lombardo, Congressman Amodei, and Roger Stone.

Fact check:

—Trump? Never endorsed him — and probably doesn’t know who he is.

—Lombardo? Endorsed under pressure; sources say he regrets it.

—Amodei? Doubt he knows Jesse either.

—Roger Stone? One Republican woman asked, “Who’s that?” Enough said.

And Jesse’s entire slate? Wiped out — an outright embarrassment.

Michael McDonald effect: I knew it was over for Jesse Law around 6 p.m. when I looked across the room and saw Jesse begging State Chairman Michael McDonald for an endorsement. The answer? A hard no.

One of Michael’s closest allies told me he flat-out said, “Buddy, you’re on your own.”

Even Michael saw the writing on the wall.

What’s Next? Time to Step Up.

Jill Douglass is the new leader of the Clark County Republican Party — now it’s time for us to get behind her.

Thanks to Jesse Law’s disastrous leadership, the party is broke. But last night, over 500 Republicans showed up. Imagine if each of us chipped in just $25 — that’s over $12,000. Enough to open an office and start rebuilding.

But the work doesn’t stop there. The party will need ongoing support. Commit to $20 a month — you won’t even miss it, but it’ll make a world of difference.

Now, it’s elbows to the ground. Jill’s ready to launch candidate training, organize precincts, and build a winning strategy for 2026.

It’s not complicated — it just takes work. And when Republicans roll up their sleeves, we win.

I’ve been right about Jesse Law all along — a narcissistic egomaniac with no class. His defeat last night proved it. Instead of showing grace, he bolted from the room like a coward, refusing even to congratulate Mrs. Douglass.
