Nevada League of Cities unveils new website, strengthening municipal engagement statewide

By Nevada News and Views staff

CARSON CITY, Nev. — The Nevada League of Cities has launched a redesigned website and refreshed brand identity, signaling a bold step forward in its mission to empower local leadership and unify Nevada’s municipalities through innovation, transparency and collaboration.

The new site, available now at https://nvleague.com, offers a streamlined, user-friendly experience built to serve city officials, community partners and the public. Key features include improved access to legislative tools, event updates and a dedicated member portal tailored for Nevada’s local governments.

“This new site isn’t just a facelift — it’s a reflection of where we’re headed,” said Kelly McNeil, executive director of the Nevada League of Cities. “We’re investing in better tools, stronger communication and a more unified voice for Nevada’s municipalities.”

The launch comes just weeks after the close of Nevada’s 83rd Legislative Session, offering timely new ways to track legislation, access session summaries and prepare for what may lie ahead. Whether or not a special session is called, the website provides an essential hub for staying connected and informed.

Key features include:

—A centralized Legislative Center for bill tracking and policy summaries

—A dynamic calendar for League conferences, trainings and networking events

—Mobile-optimized design for on-the-go access

—A secure member portal offering tools and resources for city leaders

—Clear, engaging content that highlights the League’s advocacy, partnerships and impact

“This platform reflects our commitment to innovation and access, and it’s one more example of what happens when cities come together through the League,” said Michelle Romero, president of the Nevada League of Cities and mayor of Henderson. “If your city isn’t actively participating yet, now is the perfect time. This is the kind of collaboration that strengthens our entire state.”

The updated visual brand aligns with the League’s long-standing mission: to empower local governments, advance smart policy, and build stronger, more resilient communities across Nevada. The organization, which has served as the voice of municipal government in the state for more than 60 years, continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of its members.
