(KLAS) — Las Vegas businesses in need of a marketing boost and Koala Coupons is stepping in with free marketing help to get your business noticed.
Zackary Ceballes and his business partner, Estela Hurtado, opened Appetizers on the corner of Rainbow and Oakey Boulevards, a dream that began three years ago with a humble food truck. Blending her rich Mexican heritage with bold American traditions, their menu serves up a flavorful fusion of culture and comfort.
However, with no money for a marketing budget, they seized the spotlight by signing up on Koala Coupons, a platform that proudly promotes hot deals.
Koala Coupons was started by Sergio Linares, a field service technician who is always on the lookout for great places to dine during his lunch break. He stumbled upon the struggling business, and knew he couldn’t just walk away,
“If I can help one restaurant, or one hundred restaurants. We need to support them, here to help them.”
So, whether it’s a 20 percent off a $25 purchase, or a buy one, get one free offer, any business that markets for free on Koala coupons decides what special or discount they want to offer.
It currently has a diverse range of restaurants, including Thai, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, and Filipino cuisine, plus auto repair services and premium health and beauty offerings.
“They’re not forgotten,” Linares said. “There’s a lot of small businesses out there, going through challenges, especially in this economy.”
Ceballes said it’s a win-win: affordable meals for budget-conscious customers and steady business that keeps his doors open.
Right now, Koala coupons is free to both users and businesses.
Once it starts to grow, Linares said he will introduce a two-tier version of the app, basic or paid, where users would need to have a monthly subscription, but right now they’re focused on making sure there are great deals for free.
