Las Vegas Arts District bursts with color and community at Chalk It Down! Festival

By Warren Tennyson

(KSNV) — The Las Vegas Arts District came alive with creativity and community spirit during the Chalk It Down! Festival on Saturday.

The event was a vibrant celebration of local art, food, and culture.

This free, family-friendly event brought together local artists, small businesses, and eateries for a unique experience in the heart of the city.

Festival-goers strolled through the district as talented chalk artists transformed sidewalks into stunning works of art in front of popular local shops, cafés, and boutiques along Main Street and Imperial Avenue.

Attendees had the opportunity to admire the artistry, support local businesses, and enjoy delicious bites from nearby eateries.

The Chalk It Down! The festival provided the perfect opportunity to connect, explore, and celebrate the creative spirit of Las Vegas.

In collaboration with the festival, Market in the Alley hosted an expanded monthly market featuring over 100 local artisans, vintage curators, food purveyors, and small businesses, allowing the community to support local enterprises while enjoying the art.

Additionally, Future Makers programmed the Kids Zone, offered a myriad of activities specifically designed for children, ensuring fun for the whole family.
