Clark County warns residents of latest jury duty scam

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Clark County is warning residents of the latest jury duty scam circulating through the Las Vegas area.

A county spokesperson said people have been receiving citations claiming they failed to appear for jury duty and owe a fee.

The citation claims to come from the county clerk, but the county says the clerk does not issue citations.

Anyone who receives such a notice is not required to appear in court or pay any kind of fee.
