City Council To Recognize Metro Police Unit

Employee Of The Month Also To Be Recognized

The Las Vegas City Council will recognize a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department team at the Sept. 18, 2024, City Council meeting that will begin at 9 a.m. in Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, located at 495 S. Main St.

 

    Ward 6 Councilwoman Nancy Brune is scheduled to recognize the Metro Police Northwest Area Command Crime Fighting Analytics Team. The team works to solve crimes through data and research and has had positive impacts on the community.

 

    In addition, the city’s September Employee of the Month will be recognized.  

 

    The meeting will be broadcast live on cable channel 2, and at www.kclv.tv/live.

 

    Public comment will be available for items on the agenda until 5 p.m. Sept. 17, at www.lasvegasnevada.gov/councilcomment. Those wishing to comment on items on the council agenda are invited to do so online, or to attend the meeting in person and participate in the public comment periods. Meeting agendas may be viewed at www.lasvegasnevada.gov/meetings.
